EVV Training

The information below will help provide an overview of the training approach being considered. There will be more details about training and help on how to use the EVV system once an implementation date is confirmed.

Health Care Providers using the VT EVV Training

VT Medicaid and Sandata will provide instructor-led webinar training sessions in addition to self-paced/online training via a Learning Management System that will include recorded webinars and an online library of role-based training modules as aids. Due to the short duration of training and potential limitations for some users, instructor-led classroom trainings are not expected to be highly attended but are being considered.

VT EVV Aggregator Provider Training

The VT EVV Aggregator allows providers to continue to use an alternate third-party system (also referred to as AltEVV) for visit verification.  The Alt EVV provider agency can view Sandata’s Aggregator training video (link below) prior to the start of their interface testing or after.  To meet the criteria to receive ALT EVV Credentials, provider agencies must:

  • Successfully complete testing transmission and confirmation with Sandata.
  • Submit their Aggregator certificate of training completion to the AltEVV support team at Sandata.
