Third Party/Alternate EVV (AltEVV)

Home Health Agencies (HHA) may use the VT Medicaid EVV system or an approved alternative third-party EVV system. An approved alternate EVV system (also referred as AltEVV) is one that can provide the necessary data elements as outlined in the Alternate EVV technical specifications documentation (below) and that can align with the data being captured by the Sandata system.

VT EVV Aggregator Provider Training

The Alt EVV provider agency can view Sandata’s Aggregator training video (link below) prior to the start of their interface testing or after.  To meet the criteria to receive ALT EVV Credentials, provider agencies must:

  • Successfully complete testing transmission and confirmation with Sandata.
  • Submit their Aggregator certificate of training completion to the AltEVV support team at Sandata.
