DVHA LTC will mail an informational packet to new applicants, to ensure clients have information about the Vermont LTC Medicaid Program’s financial eligibility application process. This is an informational packet memo.
Note: Effective June 3, 2024, the federal government (CMS) has issued new guidelines on interviews. These guidelines establish that states can neither require an interview nor deny Medicaid financial eligibility for failure to complete an interview. If applicants request to speak with their DVHA LTC Worker about their application, a meeting will be scheduled for them to do so.
