The Clinical Utilization Review Board (CURB) is recruiting for three positions. Per statute, CURB should be comprised of members with diverse medical experience who are appointed by the Governor. CURB meetings are scheduled every other month, generally on the third Wednesday of the month, from 6:30-8:30 pm. CURB has six scheduled meetings a year and prospective members should take into account this time obligation. Attendance options include in-person at the Waterbury State Office Complex in Waterbury, VT or remotely via Microsoft Teams.
Examples of 2021 clinical initiatives that the CURB engaged in are; out-of-network utlization, telemedicine and remote patient monitoring, and changes to prior authorization requirements.
