Medicaid Data Warehouse & Analytic Solution

Project Overview

The DVHA Medicaid Data Warehouse & Analytic Solution (MDWAS) is an initial step of the MMIS modernization strategy. Currently, there is no centralized warehouse that contains all Medicaid-related data from AIM as well as other vendor solutions. DVHA also lacks robust tools for data analysis and forecasting. Part of the strategy to modernize the program is to address data quality issues and continually expand the data warehouse. Implementation of the data warehouse addresses data concerns raised by IV&V. The centralized solution will allow the business to analyze from a single location the data received.

The MDWAS will be built using an architecture that is extensible and will be implemented in a phased approach. The current scope for implementation and phases focuses on Medicaid Data.
