On January 1st, 2021, the Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA), in partnership with the Department of Disabilities Aging and Independent Living (DAIL), and the Department of Health (VDH) implemented Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for in-home services funded by Vermont Medicaid to comply with federal requirements set forth in the 21st Century Cures Act (Cures Act).
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Beginning July 2022, Medicaid program funds cannot be used to pay for services if EVV is not used to record in-home personal care services.
