DVHA is responsible for the management of Vermont's publicly funded health insurance programs.


 

Our Mission is to:

•Provide leadership for Vermont stakeholders to improve access, quality and cost effectiveness in health care reform

•Assist Medicaid members in accessing clinically appropriate health services

•Administer Vermont's public health insurance system efficiently and effectively

•Collaborate with other health care system entities in bringing evidence-based practices to Vermont Medicaid members.

The EHR Incentive Program Awareness Survey

04/05/2016 : The Department of Vermont Health Access is conducting a survey in order to gauge awareness of the Vermont Medicaid Electronic Health Record Incentive Program (EHRIP) and Meaningful Use requirements. As a practitioner (or a practice representative) who provides services to Medicaid beneficiaries, you may be eligible to participate in the Vermont Medicaid EHRIP.

Global Commitment Waiver Extension Request

11/01/2015 : AHS submitted its 1115 Global Commitment waiver extension request to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on 12/22/15.
