Vermont’s Agency of Human Services (AHS) is providing public notice of its intent to amend its Medicaid Section 1115 Demonstration, Vermont Global Commitment to Health (Global Commitment) to address the mental health, substance use, and housing crises in the State, in addition to enabling an innovative new payment methodology. The State is soliciting public comment on these requests before submitting its amendment application to the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The demonstration amendment has been posted to the Global Commitment Register as Proposed Policy 24-028: Global Commitment to Health Demonstration Amendment Request: Public Notice and is available for review and public comment at this link. The public comment period is open from March 20, 2024 until April 19, 2024.
