Home Health Agencies (HHA) may use the VT Medicaid EVV system or an approved alternative third-party EVV system. An approved alternate EVV system (also referred to as AltEVV) is one that can provide the necessary data elements as outlined in the Alternate EVV technical specifications documentation and that can align with the data being captured by the Sandata system.
Providers using an AltEVV system will need to review with their EVV vendor the technical specifications, and related addendums and obtain a cost and timeline estimate for their data interface with the VT EVV system.
Home Health Agencies will be required to initiate a "testing credentialing" request with Sandata’s Customer Care team on behalf of their AltEVV Vendor by using either method below:
